Snowy mountains and a flowerpattern...

Voor een winterse, witte wereld moet je echt de hoogte opzoeken, hier thuis schieten de voorjaarsbloemen al volop uit de grond. Afgelopen vakantieweek logeerden we in een lief huisje op de berg, bedolven onder een dik pak sneeuw, misschien heb je al wat foto’s voorbij zien komen op instagram..? Buiten genoten we van de sneeuw, frisheid en heldere lucht, binnen genoten we van de warmte bij het haardvuur. 

To find a white, snowy world you have to travel to the mountains, back home the first springflowers pop out of the ground. This last week we stayed in a sweet house on a mountain, still completely covered in snow, maybe you’ve already seen some instagramphoto’s? Outside we enjoyed the crispness and fresh air, inside we enjoyed the warmth and the fire.

What a difference a day makes...

Het huis is gebouwd in de jaren 70, van degelijk hout met de typische afwerking van die tijd. Je zou nu een sprongetje van blijdschap maken wanneer je bv de lampen en tegeltjes bij de kringloop zou vinden. De bloemmotieven op die tegeltjes…die inspireerden me, je zou er toch zo een mooi dessin mee kunnen maken! Een creatief brein gaat nooit met vakantie…The house was built in the 70s, out of sturdy wood and the typical things of that time. You would consider yourself lucky nowadays if you would find the lamps and tiles at the thriftstore. The flower on the tiles…, they inspired me, wouldn’t it look lovely in a pattern? A creative mind never has a holiday…

Wouldn't this be a great pattern on a fabric..?
